Contributions made to our Boys & Girls Clubs
aid our efforts to build the lives of children.
Donations can be given in a variety of ways.

Here's how you can help:

Individual Gifts: Individual gifts help support the mission of our Boys & Girls Clubs. Annual gifts are tax deductible.

Corporate Giving: A corporate contribution not only lends support to our organization, but also allows a business to align itself with a meaningful cause and take part in a wise investment in the future. Corporate gifts are tax deductible.

Planned Gifts: Planned gifts are long-range contributions that will insure the longevity of our organization. This contribution includes gifts of securities or properties that can be designated for annual program operations, or restriced to the endownment fund. Bequests allow individuals to remember our Boys & Girls Clubs in a will or estate plan. Click here for more information about planned giving and the many benefits available to you.

"Friend" Fund Raisers: Each of our local Clubs sponsor neighborhood based fund raising events throughout the year, in addition to major development activities implemented by our home office. Contact your local Club to receive more information on their fund raising events.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana holds three major special events each year.
They include:
  • Building Lives Benefit:  New to Northwest Indiana this 2008 year is a signature event that will have guests reveling at its uniquness.  The scheduled date is August 14, 2008.  Details about this exclusive and "sponsor limited" event to follow soon! 
  • "Golfing for Kids" Invitational: Mark you calendars now for the fourth Monday of August. This is the designated date for the annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana's "Golfing for Kids" invitational. Held at White Hawk Country Club, the golf outing welcomes golfing foursomes: hole, corporate, and special event sponsors, as well as guest that would like to attend the dinner only.
  • Steak & Burger Dinner:  The Steak & Burger event is a National Boys & Girls Clubs of America concept designed to bring youth and adults together to share meaningful conversation.  Our Clubs hold this event to give donors the opportunity to see their investment and learn more about the direct impact of Boys & Girls Clubs in their community.  This event usually is held the third week of October.

Proposal Writing: This is the most effective way our organization secures funds from foundation, corporate, and government grants to continue ongoing youth development programs. If you know of a foundation that aligns itself with the mission of our organization, please contact our Vice President of Development and Marketing at (219) 881-1060, Extension 404 or at amartin@bgcnwi.org

In-Kind Gifts: Do you have excerise equipment, computers, office furniture, or other goods and services that will aid in the direct operation of programs or administrative needs? Let us know at (219) 881-1060. When considering making an in-kind gift, please remember that we try and provide our youth with the best possible resources. Ask yourself if the equipment, technology item, etc. are as updated as possible and fully functional. In-kind gifts of materials are tax deductible.
